Dr. Audrey “Dree” Stryker is clearly the impetus behind the creation of the IWISH Foundation. Dree began her mission years ago, assisting others in their pursuit of achieving sustainable advances in health care around the world. Based on these experiences, and with support from her family and friends, IWISH was created, and now we ask that you assist Dr. Stryker and IWISH in our mission.

IWISH Mission: To achieve sustainable healthcare for
Women & Children in poverty stricken countries.

You might like to know a little about her. 
Family: Husband, Michael-  a Saginaw attorney/ adjunct professor at Delta College; Daughters: Sarah, Masters in Education/Behavioral Analysis, working at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Molly, Constituent Relations Coordinator for State Representative Sam Singh. Emily, Recent SVSU International Business Grad working at Innovative Media Design. Parents, James (deceased) and Rhosan Stryker, retired Delta College Business Professor; Marina sales; brothers Gordon Stryker, attorney and Greg Stryker, Marina Owner. Dogs, Zoey a black labradoodle and Petey, a spotted rescue mutt.

Education and Profession: Midland High School, Delta College, University of Michigan, chemical engineering major, Wayne State University Medical School and the U.S. Air Force from 1981-1991.  Currently working in Bay City Michigan with Health Delivery Incorporated, affiliated with McLaren Bay Region Medical Center. She has earned many awards including Distinguished Alumni Award from Delta College, Outstanding Adjunct Faculty Award from Michigan State University School of Medicine, American Red Cross, Saginaw Chapter, Humanitarian Hero of the Year-2011, 2012 Michigan State Medical Society Foundation Community Service Award, Outstanding Church Woman by Midland Church Women United 6/13, and Great Lakes Bay -Woman of the Year 12/13. She is a favorite lecturer at area Junior High and High Schools on the topics of Sex Education, Contraception, Biology and Healthcare Professions.

 

Passion: Doing something meaningful that will enrich the lives of others

She says that the greatest joy in life comes from being able to say that you touched the life of someone in a positive way and then taking every opportunity to sincerely thank those who have given you that gift.
